Akhaya Sagar

Co-Founder & CEO

Sagar has studied Corporate Social Responsibility from HCL Academy,
Public Health Crisis from The John Hopkins University through Coursera, Sustainability in Indian Context from Azim Premji University, completed a Course on NGO Management in CII-CISM, The Meridian – A Leadership Course by Common Purpose, Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application and a Commerce graduate. A social entrepreneur by nature, loves social adventure which he started during his young days as a volunteer and continuing the journey thus far. He is determine to make social equity and equality – accessible to the poorest of the poor.

He shares his expertise with other NGOs across India as an Impact & Fundraising Consultant and as a Sustainability Policy Advisor especially with the grassroot voluntary organizations. Currently he seats in the Board of reputed organizations namely -Climate Change A Reality Foundation (CCARF) & Operation Sahay Foundation(OSF). He is an active volunteer and have travelled extensively in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific to create a community of innovators and strengthen social entrepreneurs to make this planet a better place to live in.

Ch Aishya Prakash

Senior Program Manager

Ch Aishya Prakash is a seasoned development professional with an illustrious career spanning over two decades in the realms of development and humanitarian sectors in India. With an unwavering commitment to making a difference, Aishya has emerged as a trusted expert in the field of education for children. His extensive experience includes program design, monitoring and evaluation, financial management and collaboration with community-based organizations, NGOs and international donors. Aishya possesses a profound understanding of the Indian government’s structure, systems and disaster management frameworks, making him a valuable asset in both routine and crisis situations. His proficiency in proposal development, project management and capacity building has contributed significantly to his numerous successes in the field.

Throughout his career, Aishya has exhibited a profound commitment to disaster response interventions and has developed state humanitarian strategies. His expertise in issues such as child rights, migration and livelihoods make him a valuable resource for addressing pressing challenges in the development and humanitarian sectors.

His dedication to improving the lives of children and vulnerable communities is evident through her extensive experience and accomplishments. He is heading the programs of Odisha Rising Foundation and have been associated with ORF since last 4 years.

Alok Chandra Parichha

Vocational Trainer

Alok Chandra Parichha is a social worker by nature. He spent his entire youths volunteering for different causes in his own community and that triggered him to take up a professional course on social work. He has a master’s degree in social work now. He loves to live among the people and therefore he stays in a slum with his family to work for the betterment of the people around. He has worked with state, national & international organizations and have gained experiences in the field of community mobilization, program management and networking with different stakeholders. He is working as a Vocational Trainer with ORF, taking care of our urban development projects in almost 50 slums of Bhubaneswar. He is very keen on developing his digital and communications skills so that he can communicate his idea of change to the larger audience in a professional but meaningful way.

Barnali Behera

Program Manager

Barnali Behera is a seasoned professional with a distinguished academic background, holding a Masters in Sociology from the prestigious Utkal University. With a remarkable career spanning over 15 years, she has honed her expertise in program management, partnership management, and monitoring and evaluation.

Currently serving as a Program Manager at ORF, Barnali plays a pivotal role in overseeing the Navadarsan Projects. Her multifaceted skill set and wealth of experience contribute significantly to the success of our initiatives. Barnali’s adeptness in program management ensures seamless coordination and execution, while her proficiency in partnership management fosters collaborative relationships that enhance the impact of our projects.

One of her standout qualities lies in her meticulous approach to monitoring and evaluation. Barnali’s commitment to thorough evaluation processes has not only optimized program delivery but has also elevated the standard of documentation associated with our projects. Her attention to detail and analytical acumen have proven invaluable in ensuring that the Navadarsan Projects are not only impactful but also well-documented for future reference.

Diptimayee Jena is a dedicated professional with a passion for education, particularly focused on improving the lives of children in marginalized communities. Holding a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from the NIIS group of Institute, Diptimayee is on a mission to drive positive change through her career. Her diverse skill set and unwavering commitment to social development make her a valuable asset to any organization dedicated to education for children.

As a Project Manager Diptimayee has demonstrated exceptional leadership and coordination skills. Her role involves supervising and coordinating project team members and establishing crucial linkages with government departments at the district level as well as state level. Diptimayee excels in data analysis and monthly report preparation, ensuring effective project performance. Her expertise extends with special emphasis on adolescent girls.
