BOARD MEMBERS

The Board is a legal representative of ORF to all our stakeholders. It is primarily involved in setting the direction for the organisation, providing policy guidelines, mentoring, monitoring and evaluating its work. The Board meets at least once every quarter. None of the board members are related to each other and neither they are paid any remunerations.

President

Akhaya Sagar is the President of the ORF Odisha Board and chairs the Board Meetings. He provides strategic inputs and directions to the Board. He also is the Co-founder and CEO of ORF which he founded with his like-minded friends to present the world the better side of Odisha State. After working for virtually one and half a decade; both in corporate and sustainability segment, he left his lucrative job in Bangalore and came back to Odisha to give back to his own community.

Secretary

A confident and highly organized development and administrative professional with over 8 years of work experience having a master’s degree in law. With years of work, She has always exhibited her inclination towards working in the fields of child rights and child protection. She believes, running an organization is like raising a child, it takes a lot of strategic and emotional efforts along with technologically advanced steps to make an impact in the society. A mother of 2 young kids, naturally approachable with a friendly but professional persona, Raj Laxmi has always believed in acquiring in-depth knowledge in the fields she has worked and peruse happiness.

Rajlaxmi is currently spearheading the operations of ORF from the Corporate office in Bhubaneswar as the Chief Operating Officer. She plays a leading role in the organizational design & development, resource management, program strategy and M & E. She has been instrumental in scaling up ORF’s various programs across Odisha State through innovative partnership and collaborative approach.

Paban Kumar

Vice President & Member Trustee

Paban is a strategic development professional with over 16 years of working experience from various development sectors in different capacity with different national NGOs to Corporate and Corporate Foundations. He has studied Master in Social Work( MSW ) through Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha and managed many CSR projects across northern part of India. He started his career in the development sector in the year 2002 as a volunteer in integrated development projects for tribal community. He is a an expertise in the field of child health and child rights. He loves travelling and interacting with people in order to understand different cultures and socio-economic condition of people around so that he can design ground breaking innovative projects for holistic development.

Ankam Srivalli

Treasurer

Srivalli is a Qualified Chartered Accountant from Odisha; currently residing in Chennai. She is very committed to the cause of Odisha and always very active in providing financial advisory to the people of Odisha for their financial planning and growth. She is having a compassion heart for the deprived and therefore she loves volunteering and spend time with children and youths. She is a mother of a beautiful girl and been taught to respect and care for others.

Sagar has studied Corporate Social Responsibility from HCL Academy, Public Health Crisis from The John Hopkins University through Coursera, Sustainability in Indian Context from Azim Premji University, NGO Management from CII-CISM, The Meridian – A Leadership Course by Common Purpose, Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application and a Commerce graduate. A social entrepreneur by nature, loves social adventure which he started during his young days as a volunteer and continuing the journey thus far. He is determine to make social equity and equality – accessible to the poorest of the poor.

He shares his expertise with grassroots NGOs across India as an Impact & Fundraising Consultant and as a Sustainability Policy Advisor. He sits in the Board of reputed organisations namely -Climate Change A Reality Foundation (CCARF), Kalinga Innovation Foundation & Operation Sahay Foundation(OSF). He is an active volunteer and have travelled extensively in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific to create a community of innovators and strengthen social entrepreneurs to make this planet a better place for all.
