Our mission is to ensure quality education and equal learning opportunities for all, with a special focus on marginalized communities, including children from economically weaker sections, tribal areas, and children with special needs.

ORF promotes Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)along with language education in rural and tribal areas to bridge the learning gap. Through hands-on learning experiences in over 1,000 schools across three districts of Odisha, we empower students with practical knowledge. A special focus is given to STEM for Girls, encouraging young women to explore careers in science and technology.

Embracing New Education Policy 2020 with Special Focus on Girls, Tribal & Rural Education Odisha’s diverse tribal communities often face educational exclusion, limiting their access to quality learning opportunities. At Odisha Rising Foundation, we work closely with local stakeholders to ensure culturally relevant education that aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Our Objectives

• Mother Tongue-Based Learning – Implementing language-inclusive programs to make education more accessible for tribal students.
• Gender Equity in Schools – Promoting inclusive education through menstrual hygiene awareness and scholarships for meritorious girls from underprivileged backgrounds
• Academic Support & Digital Learning – Providing remedial education programs, digital learning tools, and need-based academic support for students facing challenges in mainstream schooling.

Through these initiatives, we have impacted over 15,000 students, ensuring they receive the education and support they need to thrive academically and socially.

Odisha Rising Foundation is committed to improving the educational outcomes of tribal students in Kalahandi District, Odisha, through a STEM and Language Education Program in collaboration with District Administrative and Academic Officials. This initiative enhances students' skills in Mathematics, Science, and Language by implementing progressive pedagogy and experiential learning. We are actively working in 900+ government schools, enhancing teacher training and introducing innovative teaching methodologies to make learning more engaging and inclusive. Additionally, the establishment of STEM clubs provides hands-on learning experiences that foster innovation, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

We believe that quality education should reach every child, no matter how remote their location. To make this a reality, we have established 10 Community Learning Centres in remote and tribal areas, ensuring that children have access to education in a way that fosters responsibility and ownership. For just ₹1 per day, students attend classes, instilling a sense of commitment among both learners and parents.

These centres provide:
Functional Literacy – Strengthening foundational reading, writing, and numeracy skills.
Skill-Based Support– equipping students with practical skills for future opportunities. After-School Support – Helping young learners reinforce classroom learning and excel academically.

Through these grassroots initiatives, we are bridging educational gaps, empowering communities, and shaping a brighter future for underserved children.

At Odisha Rising Foundation, we go beyond traditional education by ensuring that learning translates into real-world opportunities. Our education model integrates career counselling, vocational training, and entrepreneurship development, equipping students with the skills they need to build sustainable futures.
